Development Process

Product development

Eukleia follows a proven process and methodology to ensure high-quality products and professionalism in every project. The process begins with the analysis of the client’s requirements and the specification of deliverables and timelines. These are then outlined in the Product Requirements Document (PRD), to be reviewed and signed off by the client.

The next step is the storyboard development by Eukleia’s experienced subject matter experts and instructional designers. The storyboard is a PowerPoint document outlining course content and structure, as well as instructional metaphors and interactive exercises. In addition Eukleia’s Design Team creates look-and-feel mockups to reflect the design strategy. It follows an iterative review process of storyboard and mockups followed by sign-off by the client. This stage represents the best opportunity for the client to suggest structural or functional modifications without causing significant time and cost overruns.

Once the storyboard is signed off, the build of the course starts. At first a prototype is built, which usually consists of a fully-functioning first chapter of the course. After review by the client, the build of the first full version of the course continues: the Alpha version. Following client review of the Alpha version, requested changes get implemented and the updated version forms the Beta version. The Beta version will be integrated onto the Learning Management System for user acceptance testing. Once the course has passed UAT, the Final version will be uploaded to the Live LMS for roll-out.

There are several internal testing phases throughout the design/development phase, which guarantee the high quality of our products. There is also a thorough technical QA and proofreading scheduled on the Beta version.

Multiple client review phases help to provide a product that matches the client’s needs. In order to keep the project on time the reviews need to be completed to schedule.

Amends requested after UAT which are not due to issues identified during UAT, are considered outside project scope and subject to change control. The client will be charged for these in accordance with current tailoring fees.
